About Alumni Association

It is with great pleasure that we announce the coming establishment of the JICA Afghanistan Alumni Association for former participants of JICA training courses held either in Japan or any other country. If you took part in one of these courses, we would like to welcome you into our important international organization.

The JICA Afghanistan Alumni Association will be then one of 104 JICA Alumni Associations in 96 countries around the globe. With the founding of the JICA Alumni Association, we will foster friendly interactions between former participants of our courses and JICA, and strengthen the bond formed by these programs between the people of Japan and Afghanistan. As a member of the association you will have the opportunity to:

• Strengthen the bonds formed between JICA and all previous course participants,
• Foster the friendship between Afghanistan and Japan,
• Participate in the annual general meeting,
• Encourage friendly interactions among members of the organization,
• Take pleasure in organized events such as trips, parties and sports events,
• Enjoy sponsored social activities,
• Join volunteer members to hold social activities and campaigns,
• Encourage a broader understanding of Japanese culture,
• Participate in Japanese language courses,
• Stay connected with other JICA Alumni Association members through the quarterly JICA newsletter, and
• Travel abroad to meet with other Alumni Association members in other countries.

If you are a former participant of one of the JICA courses, you can take advantage of all these benefits by simply joining the JICA Alumni Association. To become a member all you need to do is fill in the attached Alumni Association Membership Form（Alumni Form.doc)
