Ukraine-Japan Center

Despite having entered the market economy in 1992 shortly after becoming an independent country and greatly affected by a downturn in the international financial market for awhile, Ukraine, like Russia and the other CIS countries, has seen positive growth since 2000 driven by economic recovery in the region. The Japan Center serves as a center “to foster human resources that will contribute to Ukraine’s economic growth” and “to promote social, economic, and cultural exchanges between Japan and Ukraine”.

Ukraine Japan Center was open in May 2006 at Kiev.
