In March 2004, JICA Task Force on Aid Approaches/Strategy (Capacity Development Sub-task team) issued "Capacity Development Handbook for JICA staff: For Improving the Effectiveness and Sustainability of JICA's Assistance". The primary objective of this handbook is to provide hints and food for thought for JICA staff including JICA experts, advisers and national staff at the JICA field offices to further improve the effectiveness and efficiency of JICA programs/projects. This handbook is the result of discussions among taskforce members as well as between task members and other key JICA staff.
