GDN is a global network of research and policy institutes working together to address problems of national and regional development.
By facilitating knowledge sharing among researchers and policy makers, and bridging the gap between ideas and policies, GDN aims to contribute to advance development in developing countries.
GDN-Japan is one of the regional networks of GDN. JICA Research Institute (JICA-RI) plays a role as the hub institution for this Japanese network. As one of the networks of the developed countries, GDN-Japan contributes by dispatching resource persons to the networks in developing countries.
