The
priority areas for the aids
The
ninth plan for the next five years (between 2001 and 2005) has
development targets of each section as follows:
- Upgrading economy by
promoting investment.
- Introducing modern
industries.
- Upgrading the life level of
the people.
- Solving the problems on the
population and the environment.
We
indicated that the above targets were the given conditions to select
the priority areas, and thought of the so-far achievements as leading
donor through bilateral assistance, interdisciplinary development
targets of international assistance communities such as MDG, and basic
conditions and limitations of the development whose problems the Middle
East and Syria had faced. Consequently, we have decided the priority
areas
for the aids in the project plans by partner country individually
as follows:
- Modernizing socio-economic
systems
- Managing water resources and
using them effectively
- Making social services wide
- Keeping the environment
around us
