Public Advisory on Fraudulent Email Account

The Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) Philippine Office warns the public against messages received from a fraudulent email account: jicaloangrantpropertyad@gmail.com

JICA has received reports that the account is being used to obtain sensitive bank information under the name of JICA and its officials for fund transfer.

Please be advised that JICA does not own this Gmail account. In case you receive a similar email request, please close the message immediately and tag it as spam.

When in doubt, you may contact the JICA Philippine Office at (63) 2 8889 7119 or email pp_oso_rep@jica.go.jp to verify the authenticity of any correspondence you may have received from JICA.

We urge the public to remain cautious when dealing with such malicious messages.
