Increase School Performance at the elementary level in the fields of mathematics, science and Technology

PROJECT SUMMARY

During the first stage of the project (2007-2011) which took place in the regions of Fatick, Louga and Thies, the project developed modules to ensure continuous training for teachers through the Committee of Teaching Activity (CAP). These modules were considered as relevant and interesting, and a passion of teachers to participate to CAP has been improved thanks to the intervention of the project.
Concerning the good results recorded during the first stage in term of improving the quality of learning and the organization of continuous training, the project, in the second stage has stabilized an ideal of continuous training for teachers to be generalized in all regions of Senegal . This model was approved at a national workshop held in 30th august 2013.
