Masters and Doctoral Degree Scholarships: THE PROJECT FOR HUMAN RESOURCE DEVELOPMENT SCHOLARSHIP (JDS)

The Project for Human Resource Development Scholarship (JDS) Programme supports human capacity development in target countries by providing young Government officers with full studentships for post graduate degrees in top selected Japanese Universities.

JDS Programme in Sri Lanka

The 2nd batch of the 3rd phase of JDS Programme has commenced on June 26th, 2018 based on a Grant Agreement signed between the Government of Sri Lanka and JICA. Through the Programme, JICA will offer 15 Master Degrees and 2 Doctoral Degree slots annually. At the end of the phase it is expected that 60 Master Degrees and 08 Doctoral Degrees will be offered.
