Biggest numbers of JICA Volunteers arrive in Bangladesh

JICA volunteers are working for a long time to support different sectors in Bangladesh. After a gap of six month, a group of 18 volunteers of batch 26-4 and 27-1 have arrived in Bangladesh this morning. This is the biggest group of JICA volunteers in Bangladesh in recent years.

Among the volunteers five volunteers will be working in PTIs in Rangpur, Barisal, Rajshahi, Gazipur and Comilla, five volunteers will be working in Civil Surgeon Offices in Rangpur (2), Comilla, Laxmipur and Chittagong, four volunteers will be working in Bangladesh Rural Development Board in Comilla, Tangail, Dinajpur and Barisal, one volunteer will be working in Jahangirnagar University as Language Instructor and two other volunteers will be working with NGOs.

The eighteen (18) members met with Mr. Mikio Hataeda, Chief Representative of JICA Bangladesh Office and described their target activities.
