On 5th March 2020, JICA Cambodia Office organized the 2nd Road Traffic Safety Workshop in cooperation with MPWT and National Road Safety Committee (NRSC) at Phnom Penh Hotel. The workshop aimed at sharing experience on traffic safety in Japan and discussing what kind of actions Cambodia should take. We invited Japanese traffic safety experts to give lectures on how Japan succeeded in reducing traffic accidents and what kind of education is being given in Japan. In the second half of the workshop, participants had a group discussion work on given issues. Making use of what they learned in the lectures, many proposals were made from various perspectives.
