LBE under the support of JICA Project started at ITC in April 2019. Since then, it is noticeable that the research capacity at ITC has been improved. The two provincial universities, Svay Rieng University, and University of Battambang have also improved its capacity by being involved in ITC-LBE Project.

Remarkably, the students, joining LBE laboratories, have improved their presentation skills, analysis skills, communication skills, etc.

In the beginning of June, the Project organized the presentation session via MS Teams. 9 LBE teams, which had received the research grant (1st batch), presented the achievements and experiences. About 60 participants gave the feedback and recommendations, so that the Project could define the actions to take for the next step. This showed that although Covid-19 had affected the project, everyone has been putting the great effort to keep implementing the activities.
