Ceremony of installation of bio-toilettes held in Yaound

On November 14, 2017, the ceremony of installation of 8 bio-toilettes was held at the Yaoundé City Council. 8 bio-toilettes were handed over to the Yaoundé City under the JICA's cooperation scheme to support Japanese SMEs overseas business development. The Project aims to disseminate low maintenance toilettes (microbes break down urine and no water or scooping is required) in Cameroon. More than 50 participants including the Ambassador of Japan and Resident Represent of JICA Cameroon office attended the ceremony and called the sustainable use of installed bio-toilettes.
