A1. All JICA training programs are according to the official request from the government of Egypt to the government of Japan. After the government of Japan decides the training programs to be allocated to Egypt during the next fiscal year of Japan (April to March), the results are officially informed to Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Egypt. International Cultural Relations Department of the Ministry is responsible of the JICA Training Programs.
Therefore, you can access to the both-ways, JICA Egypt office or Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Egypt.
A2. JICA provides training to Officials of the government of Egypt engaged in different fields of the country's socio-economic development and for the organizations which are approved by the Government of Egypt. Some courses are designed for NGO staffs.
A3. FIRST, details of the various group courses are summarized in what we call General Information Booklet (G.I.) to provide detail description of each course, including the curriculum of the course and qualifications for participation. Those Booklets are distributed among governmental organizations etc. through MOFA. The relevant organizations will nominate their participants by filling in Application Forms and Medical History Examination.
A3. The screening committee in Japan will study all applications of the nominees and the suitable one who met the requirement for application will be accepted officially, then he/she can go to Japan. Furthermore, the following Allowances and Expenses will be covered by JICA in accordance with relevant laws and regulations;
1. Round-trip Air Ticket, 2.Accommodation Allowance, 3.Living Allowance, 4. Outfit Allowance, 5.Shipping Allowance, 6.Free Medical Care.
