Alongside TICAD 7, held in Yokohama from the 28th to the 30th of August, JICA will be hosting a series of 30 Side Events.
TICAD is an international conference on African development, which is organised by the Japanese government, the United Nations, the United Nations Development Programme, the African Union Commission and the World Bank. In addition to African heads of state, private sector enterprises, researchers and the general public participate and exchange ideas about how to enhance African development from various perspectives.
Throughout the JICA Side Events, issues surrounding African development and how to best tackle them will be discussed based on speakers' ground-level experiences and their expertise.
Anyone interested in African development is welcome to attend.
