Signing of Grant Agreement with Nepal: Supporting the rehabilitation of Sindhuli Road at earthquake-affected sites

On October 25, the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) signed a grant agreement with the Government of the Federal Democratic Republic of Nepal in Kathmandu to provide grant aid of up to 1.047 billion yen for the Project for the Rehabilitation of Sindhuli Road Affected by Earthquake.

The objective of the project is to ensure the smooth and safe transportation of Sindhuli Road users by rehabilitatng earthquake damage to the road, thereby contributing to the earthquake reconstruction efforts and enhanced disaster resilience in Nepal.
