Japan Center

Activities 3. Mutual Understanding Programs

Programs to promote mutual understanding between the host countries and Japan

Mutual Understanding Programs are implemented aiming to deepen mutual understanding between the people of the country in which the Center is located and Japan. Specifically, the Centers provide opportunities for cultural exchange between the host countries and Japan through holding a variety of events that introduce cultures and traditions of each other.

Furthermore, the Centers also engage in the collection and communication of information relating to both Japan and their host country. For example, they communicate the latest information from Japan and information about opportunities to study in Japan to local residents, and they also transmit information about local life and the Center's activities in Japan at the same time.
