City's recycling project a success

The Waste Minimization and Recycling Promotion Project which promotes the 3R (Reduce, Reuse and Recycle) concept is carried out by the residents of Lautoka and Nadi in collaboration with the local municipalities. With their efforts, the amount of waste has been reduced by 60 per cent. It is expected that the recycle model will be expanded to other areas.
