The delegation of the Japan Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCI) seeks for investment to Kyrgyz Republic.

In the end of May, 2017 JCCI delegation for the first time had a visit to Kyrgyzstan. During the visit a business meeting took place between the delegation of Japan and management of the CCI KR. The delegation consisted of the heads of Japanese companies engaged in such sectors as finance, construction, real estate market, nursing and tourism. The purpose of the visit is conducting a study of the investment potential of the KR and search for potential partners.

The meeting was also attended by Mr. Ichiro Kumakiri, JICA expert, an investment promotion adviser in the State agency for investment and export promotion under the Ministry of Ecomony KR (SAIEP under the MEKR) and Mr. Michinori Yotsuhashi, director of the Japan Institute Recruitment Center at the Kyrgyz State University named after. I. Arabaeva.

Also delegation of Japan CCI visited SAIEP to familiarize with investment potential of the country. The delegation was represented by the heads of Japanese companies specialized in construction, finance, real estate market, nursing and tourism.

The Director of the SAIEP Mr. Alymbek Orozbekov gave a brief overview of the investment opportunities of the Kyrgyz Republic and the economic situation in general, and noted about advantages of doing business in the country.

Both parties expressed hope for cooperation in the near future.
