The Prime Minister of the KR Mr. Sooronbay Zheenbekov awarded One Village One Product Association with the Certificate of Honor of the Government of the KR.

On 31 July 2017, the Prime Minister of the Kyrgyz Republic Zheenbekov Sooronbay, rewarded domestic entrepreneurs "For Contribution to the Development of the Economy".

The awards were given to the best exporters who made a significant contribution to the promotion of exports of domestic goods and the development of the national economy. Along with other producers, The Association "One village - one product" (OVOP) was also awarded with a Government award. The chairman of the Association, Mr. Totubaev Joldoshbek, took part in the ceremony.

Mr. Totubaev said: "We are honored to receive the award directly from the Prime Minister of the country. This gave us the incentive to work even harder to increase the volume and improve the quality of our products. "

Background Information: The Association One Village One Product (OVOP) was established by the initiative of local regional producers in Issyk-Kul region of Kyrgyz Republic to promote the movement OVOP within the framework of the JICA project "One Village One Product". Currently, the Association consists of 210 groups of manufacturers with 2,200 members.
