Japanese children experienced Kyrgyz Republic

On 8 August, Japanese children have experienced Kyrgyz Republic at School of Nagoya city, Aichi prefecture. Representatives of Kyrgyz Republic were 6 former JOCV: Asanuma san, Hattori san, Shimizu san, Kotani san, Konishi san, Uchida san. Some of them might be known by our readers.

Look at this! Japanese children tried "Kara-Jorgo" gymnastics ("Kara-Jorgo" gymnastic was developed by JOCV, who is working as Physical education teacher in Naryn oblast). Just look at the pictures and feel friendly atmosphere of the event. Also children could learn more about Kyrgyz Republic by playing quiz. But the most surprising moment for the children was school uniform of Kyrgyz Republic. Because primary school students could not imagine themselves in uniform, since there is no uniform at these grades. In the event volunteers also performed playing the Komuz.

Volunteers, who used to work in OVOP movement, taught to children how to circle the colorful felt and tried to make felt-balls together!

Japanese children, who have never been abroad, made a one-day trip to Kyrgyz Republic.

Further JICA Kyrgyz Republic Office and former volunteers will continue doing the best to strengthen relationship of Japan and Kyrgyz Republic and will follow introducing Kyrgyz Republic in different places around the Japan.
