On March 11, 2018 a Friendship Concert dedicated to the 25th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Japan and the Kyrgyz Republic was conducted in the Kyrgyz national Philharmonic Hall with welcoming speech by the Ambassador of Japan to the Kyrgyz Republic, Mr. Yoshihiro Yamamura.

For the event, a special professional traditional drum players group "Densya" from Japan was invited. The concert program was implemented in collaboration with honorable folklore group "Kambarkan" of the Kyrgyz Republic, Japanese group "Densya" consisting of Semisen instrument, flute Sinobue and professional dance and taiko drums. The group and its professional performance of Japanese traditional music arts were very much welcomed by the audience.

Following each group's performance joint performance by Kyrgyz and Japanese professionals proved strong friendly relations between our countries. The guests were impressed with jointly played well known compositions "Mash botoi", "Sakura sakura" and "Esindebi".
