Introduction of Distance Learning System for Improvement of the Human Resources Development of the STS under the Kyrgyz Republic.

In the end of July 2018 the second meeting of the Joint Coordinating Committee for the project "Improvement of the Human Resources Development System of the State Tax Service (STS) under the Government of the Kyrgyz Republic was held.

At the moment, work to collect information for the content of distance learning has been done. The next stage will be the introduction of distance system and pilot training.

The main goal of the project is to systematize the structure of training, develop and implement a program to improve trainings, so that the STS can independently continue to develop further human resources development through the introduction of a distance learning system. The distance learning system will facilitate the education system in the tax sphere, covering all regional tax administrations of the Kyrgyz Republic.

Senior Representative of JICA in KR, Mr. Imai Seiju, emphasized: "This Project is a model JICA Project in a sense of introduction for a distance learning system for civil servants. We hope that project will allow to expand the opportunities for getting knowledge by STS staff in a timely and qualitative manner."

Within the framework of this project the STS staff will have an opportunity to visit Japan, which includes trainings and seminars in the field of Japanese taxation.
