The first training "Bridge engineering" conducted in Japan for employees of road organizations

The first training "Bridge Engineering" was held in Japan from July 22 to August 11, 2018 in Japan for employees of the Ministry of Transport and Roads (MOTR), the educational institution and the Design institute of the Kyrgyz Republic. To increase the design potential as well as to develop bridge engineering technologies, the participants listened to interesting lectures and visited various sites.

The training was successfully completed, and the participants had a feedback meeting with all organizations. On August 16 at the MOTR, they shared their impressions of the visits and plans for the future trainings such as the creation of a working group for introducing the law on bridges inspections, the development of a plan for the implementation of courses for improving the qualifications of bridge engineers on the educational institution.

Acquired knowledge will be used to expand the information among the road organization employee as well as to promote Japanese technologies in the design, construction and maintenance of bridges in the Kyrgyz Republic.
