First brand products selected of OVOP movement in regions.

The first selection of the brand products in Jalal-Abad, Osh, Batken and Naryn oblasts was conducted. The utilization of regional, eco-friendly resources, the uniqueness and originality are the main criteria for evaluation of products.

Apart from motivating local producers and giving them the opportunity to expand distribution channels, increasing income, awarding the regional brand logo to product also contributes to enhancement of the region's image. Products that have been approved will be sold in all One Village One Product (OVOP) sales points within the country, including the OVOP Center in Bishkek.

*In order to disseminate the OVOP approach and promote local industry, OVOP Platforms has been established. Main function of the Platforms is the implementation of the OVOP approach, as well as the selection of the local brand products. The brand product selection meeting in Talas oblast will be held at the beginning of next year.
