"One Village One Product" Association goals for 2019.

Sales of "One Village One Product" Association (OVOP) from January to October 2018 (10 months) have increased for 22% compared to sales of 10 months in last year. Six workshops will be operated in southern part of Issyk-Kul for efficient production, increase of product exports and development of retailing points on domestic market.

It was reported in General Meeting of OVOP Association in Karakol. More than 300 members of the Association, representatives of government and business sector attended the meeting.

OVOP activities in Issyk-Kul became a model of community empowerment through small business promotion using OVOP approach. This model of OVOP in Issyk-Kul has been disseminating to other regions of the country since 2017. In 2018, the 1st Brand committee meetings had been held in Naryn, Osh, Batken and Jalal-Abad oblasts.

Association is inviting new producers to join OVOP activities.

Mission of Association: Unite individual efforts into one power for economic development.

*OVOP Association was established in 2011 in the framework of the JICA OVOP Project in the KR.
