Experts from Obihiro shared experience of regional development.

Experts from JICA Obihiro, Hokkaido visited Kyrgyzstan. They shared the experience in regional development in Japan through cooperation among industry, science and state, development of dairy livestock sector and creation of food valley in Tokachi, Obihiro and discussed ideas for cooperation, opportunities for application of Obihiro experience and resources for solving development issues in the agricultural and business sectors in Kyrgyzstan.

Participants of the seminar noted the importance of using Obihiro experience in the field of veterinary, food security and education. "It is important to apply the complex approach to solve the issue in Kyrgyzstan. For example, in Japan when producing safe products, producers also think about how not to harm environment", - noted Ms. Bubujan Arykbaeva, participant of the seminar.

With support by experts, JICA will consider ways on enhancing the collaboration between Kyrgyzstan and Obihiro, such as transferring the knowledge, creation of projects, and relations between SMEs of two countries.
