[Volunteer Report] The MAJILA Workshop at Nalikule Teachers College

The Japanese volunteer's group active in science education carried out "The MAJILA Workshop" at Nalikule Teachers College in the suburbs of Lilongwe. This was the fourth workshop held in the country. MAJILA sounds like MAZILA "eggs" in Chewa language and the MAJILA Workshop invites students in the teachers college who are considered to be eggs of teachers. Using available familiar materials, the students learnt how to carry out experiments with lab ware and thought about the method of experiment. The aim of the volunteer's science group activity is to make science lessons enjoyable to Malawian learners and children in the future. The MAJILA Workshop will continue to fostering human capital of young generations who will hold the future of Malawi.
