P-CoRIE[1] publicized a guidebook on the 7th of December 2017 titled "PARADISE OF NATURE --understanding the wonders of Palau" as a token of outcomes from the 5 year Project being implemented at PICRC since October 2013, ending March 2018.

This guidebook is introduces wonders hidden in pristine nature and in daily life of Palau, local traditions and customs related with surroundings in Palau, and impact from the global climate change originally written by those authors who are intellectuals in Japan and Palau.

The guidebook has an interesting structure: every chapter begins a question towards the reader, and all readers may recognize priceless Palauan nature by following descriptions and answering those headed question.

For some 18 years since the beginning of the cooperation at PICRC built under Japanese Grant Aid in 2000, three Technical Cooperation Projects have been made by JICA and other cooperative organization since October 2002, all aiming at conservation of coral reef and natural environment and capacity improvement of research and monitoring of them. Project outcomes in the past are two books "Coral Reef of Palau" (2007)and "Tropical Marine Plants of Palau" (2007), which contributed to conservation of world heritage coral reef in Palau.
