"Faten" organization participated in a training course in Malaysia on "Islamic Finance"

Palestinian Organization for Finance and Development "FATEN" and representatives from Palestinian financial institutions including the Palestinian Monetary Authority participated in a training course on Islamic finance in Malaysia which is considered to be a leader and pioneer in this field. This training course was organized by JICA at the Islamic Banking and Finance Institute Malaysia (IBFIM).

Jenin watermelon soon in the Palestinian markets

As part of JICA’s technical cooperation “Strengthening Support System focusing on Sustainable Agriculture”, the grafting of watermelon crop was introduced to the Ministry of Agriculture and the farmers in Jenin by Japanese experts. The Jenin watermelon, once disappeared from the market due to soil borne infection, have successfully been reproduced.
