(1) Beneficiaries

A. Immediate Beneficiaries

  • Communities practicing community forestry in the four reserved forests
    Approximately 1,000 people (On the assumption that 20 CFUSGs are organized)
  • Member of Community Forestry Task Force (MCFTC)
    Approximately 30 people

*The Community Forestry Task Force is an organization established by the Forest Department (Head Quarters level, District level (Myaung Mya), Township level (Laputta, Bogalay and Pyar Pon)), and reserved forest level in order to assist local communities in CF activities in the four Reserved Forests. The organization which links each level of the Forest Department (from Head Quarters to reserved forest level), assigns 3 – 5 Forest Department personnel in each Reserved Forest, and totally consists of 30 personnel.
