From December 10 to 14, 2007, an "Introduction Seminar on Communal Seedbed Management and Agroforestry" was held for farmers participating in Project activities. ANAM's CEDESAM (Center for Sustainable Environmental Development) facilities were rented for the seminar. The contents of the training program were very complete providing a combination of lectures, experiments and practice. The participants also were very dedicated in acquiring new knowledge. The results of this training, together with the experiences from the "reforestation study tour" that was held at an earlier date, will be applied to tree-planting activities on the group farms.
