Dogs, Dogs and More Dogs

When visiting a community you notice the presence of dogs.  Their role is to be a watchdog, but they seem more to be pets.  From our perspective as Japanese and foreigners it's hard to say if they are really loved as pets.  The dogs are mostly skinny, don't wear a collar and roam freely.  When we are having a meeting and a dog comes into the group, the people usually yell "shu!" and chase it away.  So it seems to me that they aren't treated so fondly.  But the dogs are friendly with people and I've never seen one bite anyone, even though they do a lot of barking.  Today I will show 9 dogs I met in the communities.
