More material added to "Existing Data on Watershed Conservation"

As reference material for our activities, we have collected existing material related to watershed conservation published in Panama and in the Central and South American region. This material has been converted to PDF format and uploaded to this web site.

We have added new material that was recently gathered and converted to PDF, and we have also reorganized the tables in which the material is categorized. (There are now a total of 169 publications.) The material can be found in this website under the title "Existing Data on Watershed Conservation" classified into the following 5 tables:

  • Table 1: Available Guidelines and Manuals on environment-friendly production and conservation techniques (Spanish)
  • Table 2: Available Guidelines and Manuals on farmland planning (Spanish)
  • Table 3: Available Guidelines and Manuals on organizational strengthening (Spanish)
  • Table 4: Available Material on awareness creation for farmers. (Spanish)
  • Table 5: Available Material on environmental education for school students (Spanish)

All the publications are in PDF format. The resolution of some of the images is low, but this is due to restrictions in the amount of public data that can be displayed on the homepage of technical cooperation projects. Please bear with us on this point.

Please direct your questions about the presented data to the following address: alajuela_project@ntc-i.co.jp

We hope that this can serve as an aid to those who are carrying out similar activities. When using this material, please be sure to include the information on the author and original source of the quoted material. (The PDF files all have a page with the pertinent information.)

(Mr. Isao SAKAI, Chief Advisor / Rural Development)
