The Project has held a variety of workshops for the purpose of supporting the groups' organizational strengthening. Such workshops incorporated previous experiences as well as techniques developed by our Project. However, the methodology for implementing some of the workshop themes had not been clearly established or it had been left up to the discretion of the person in charge of the workshop. As a result, the execution of the Project's workshops was not uniform.
Therefore, a workshop was held for all Project personnel related to the organizational strengthening component for the purpose of "developing and sharing workshop methodology". Those workshop themes whose methodology was not clearly defined and standardized were identified, and an effective methodology for each was discussed. (Photos 1 and 2)
Also, regarding the workshops held for the farmer groups, all the related C/P's participated together on-site in order to confirm and standardize the implementation methodology. Photos 3 and 4 show a scene from the gender workshop that was held in the Santa Librada community in which all the related C/P's participated.
Based on all these experiences, a person was selected to be in charge of each workshop and a corresponding implementation manual was made for each workshop. These manuals will be included in the Extension Guide (Second Edition) that is currently being revised.
