The Park Rangers of Chagres National Park

Most of the Alhajuela Lake watershed is within the Chagres National Park.  ANAM (National Environmental Authority), through its administrative office in the Park, executes a variety of programs within the park.  The park rangers (vigilance personnel) are a very important part of this and they also support our Project's activities in many ways.

Normally, the park rangers wear their uniforms while on visits or in meetings during their work hours, but even on their days off they willing support our activities in their civilian clothes.  (Photos 2 & 4)
