Chemical Risk Communication Training under PRTR Project – Conclusion of Evaluation Survey on the Training Course

For future improvement of the risk communication training course, the participants were requested to submit the satisfaction questionnaire for evaluation by the task force.

The questionnaire consisted of 6 main parts: 1) personal information; 2) satisfaction on the organization of the training; 3) satisfaction on the lecturers; 4) satisfaction on the course content; 5) understanding of the content before/after attending the course; and 6) comment and suggestion.

The result showed that the majority of participants were satisfied with the organization of the training, as well as with the lecturers in all aspects – expertise in the content, delivering/training technique, answering the question and course material –, and with the course content for both lecture and practice sections. Pre-test and Post-test were taken by the participants to measure their understanding of the contents, and the result showed that their understanding also improved significantly after the 3-day training course.

In addition, the floor gave various useful comments and suggested that this training should be sustained and continued to develop in order to provide the accurate information and correct understanding of the PRTR system to the people in every sector.
