The Pollution Control Department (PCD), the Department of Industrial Works (DIW), the Industrial Estate Authority of Thailand (IEAT) and JICA are implementing the 4-year Japanese technical cooperation project for "the Development of Basic Schemes for Pollutant Release and Transfer Register System (PRTR) in the Kingdom of Thailand". Currently, the Project finished its' first year activity and is at the stage of drafting selection criteria for target substances and list of target substance to be reported under the PRTR system. We are preparing the pilot project to be implemented in Rayong province in the third year, and the above mentioned target substances would be the subject of reporting for this pilot project. We thus would like to seek for your comments/suggestions on the draft selection criteria and list of substances by April 30, 2012.
