On 30th August 2010, project summary (a document which outlines the project) review meeting was held in a conference room of DARD (Department of Agriculture and Rural Development). The project summary is required in the process of the project approval in Vietnamese side. Mr. Nguyen Dinh Ky (Project Manager), head of Sub-DOF (Sub Department of forestry), participated in the meeting as a chairman. Totally 18 peoples attended including Mr. Pham Duc Hien (Director of DARD and Project Director) and his staffs, and representatives of Dien Bien District, Dien Bien Dong District and Dien Bien Phu City.

In the meeting, the project implementation structure and methods of activities in pilot sites, etc. are discussed and many meaningful opinions were given. The project approval process will be carried on incorporating those feedbacks from the attendees.
