The 2nd JCC Meeting was held on 22 December, 2011, at Dien Bien Province People's committee. More than 35 participants, including JCC and PMU (Project Management Unit) members, supporting agencies and Commune chairpersons of the project pilot site, attended this meeting.

Mr. Ky, Project Manager, presented the overall progress, achievements and problems of the project activities in the last 1 year after the 1st JCC, and Annual Plan of Operation of 2012 (APO 2012).

After Mr. Ky's presentation, Mr. Nhan, Vice-chairperson of PCC, chaired the meeting and the participants proposed the countermeasures and requested their demands, such as capacity development through trainings and study tours, regularly reporting to the JCC members and increasing kinds of pilot activities etc. The participants discussed quite actively.

It was recognized that JCC members, executing agencies and supporting agencies are willing to be involved in the activities of SUSFORM-NOW project. It was also become clear that the role of JCC meeting was not only receiving reports and approving plans but also for creating and strengthening bonds of all stakeholders.

Based on the results of discussions of the 2nd JCC meeting, SUSFORM-NOW project will continue various activities in a coming year, based on APO2012.
