The project started a season-long Farmer Field School training on coffee crop in Da Nhim commune involving 30 participants; 10 from 3 villages each. In collaboration with Agriculture Extension Center of Lam Dong Province, this field-based, group learning approach will facilitate farmers to discover ecologically appropriate as well as productive, hands-on technologies of growing coffee with ecologically friendly options. After the training, the participant farmers are expected to conduct farmer-to-farmer extension activities.
