Extension methodology

In June 2007, the project held 2 training courses on extension methodology for National trainers (NTs). The primary purpose of conducting these training courses is to help NTs gain more knowledge on dairy farming extension method then transfer to local technicians (LTs) in the project areas and LTs transfer to dairy farmers such as about how to prepare lectures/make technical information/leaflets for participants in farmer seminars, how to make effective presentation, communication skills, how to conduct more effective technological transfers to dairy farmers, analysis methods, class organization, report writing skills, analysis methods, making effective interviews with farmers, observation skills, how to use color card and so on.

All training course was lectured by Mr. Ta Ngoc Sinh. Particularly, 1st training course was held on 7 to 10 June and the 2nd training course was held on 14-16 June 2006 at STED, Ba vi cattle and forage research center.
