Training management and extension activities for dairy farming

One of the most key point to create the project activities is “Training management and extension activities” . With other members of Project,on April 8, 2006 Dr. Kanameda Masaharu was assigned as a team member to set up project activities. During his assignment, he carry out baseline survey to both farmer’s needs survey and Lt survey in four target areas: Khoai Chau district, Hung yen province; Vinh Tuong district, Vinh phuc province; Tho xuan district, Thanh Hoa province and Moc chau district, Son la province.

Base on such baseline survey, he formulated training and extension programs, made draft curriculum for LT training. For the Project site in Ba vi Cattle and Forage research Center, Project recruited 6 counterparts who will be national trainers (NT) in the near future, he explained to them understand the object and scope of this project and their role in this project. Together with other members of the project, he gave technical suggestion points for the formulation of Project Design Metrix (PDM) and Project Operation (PO).
