Silage Making Demonstration in demonstration farm in Bavi (15th June, 2008)

After being chopped, material was put inside a nylon big bag which was inside the mobile silo.

Finally, the silo was cover and pressed by sand bags.

In June 15th, 2008 the project held one silage making demonstration in one demonstration farm, Mr. Truong’s farm, one among 4 demonstration farms of the project in Bavi area. This kind of activity was carried as a result of practical observation in Bavi of the project’s expert & counterparts. Also, that was the way to introduce with Bavi dairy farmers about silage making method using mobile silo. Mobile silo was made by metal sheet and took a small space.

The result of this demonstration was satisfactory. After some months, farmer started feeding for his cattle with a good quality silage.
