Recognized that dairy industry in Vietnam had some similar points with Japan dairy industry, the project created an opportunity for Vietnamese farmers to exchange their experience in raising dairy cattle with Japanese dairy farmers. For that reason, the project invited 5 Japanese dairy farmers to join the exchanging seminars held in Moc Chau on 30th October, 2008 in Vinh Thinh and 31st October, 2008 in Moc Chau.

The seminars attracted a plenty of dairy farmers from those two areas. They came and raised many questions regarding to dairy cattle raising experience in Japan, especially they asked Japanese farmers experience to deal with common diseases in dairy cattle. Japanese farmers shared their real experience and gave some advices for Vietnamese farmers as an experienced person for greenhorn.

Because the big amount of question, Japanese farmers could not answer all, they kept remains and promised to send the answers later through the project. The seminars left strong impressions for both side. Japanese farmers had good impression of hardworking, interested in studying and friendly Vietnamese dairy farmers while Vietnamese farmers had good impression of friendly and experienced Japanese dairy farmers. The seminars finished with best wishes from each Japanese farmer for Vietnam dairy industry development.
