• Up to now, 3 farmer seminars on Heat Stress Prevention have been conducted in BaVi, VinhTuongand Hung Yen. In these seminars, dairy farmers were provided with some methods of keeping dairy cattle in good conditions even under hot weather in order to regain cattle’s tiredness/decreased reproduction/milk production performance caused by the weather conditions. In addition to the lecture, the Project provided each farmers with a technical leaflet on Heat stress management. The main presenter in these seminars was Mr. Koji Shimokawa, with assistance from Mr.Truong, Ms. Mai ThiHa and Mr. Pham Hung Son.
• On 24 April, the seminar was held in VinhTuongwith the attendance of 91 dairy farmers and staffs.
• Seminar conducted for Baviarea on 27 April with 99 dairy farmers.
• On 11 June, we went to Van Giangdistrict, Hung Yen province to carry out this seminar for farmers there. There were around 30 dairy farmers coming to attend the seminar.
