Seminar on Silage Making Method

More than 100 farms in MC attended the seminar

• This seminar was held on 19 June in MocChauarea (in collaboration with MocChaudairy company), with 120 participants including dairy farmers, company’s staffs and local technicians. The main lecturer in the seminar was
  Ms. Mai ThiHa, Project’s counterpart. She was a main presenterin this seminar. This time, Mr. K.Shimokawaplayed role as an assistant only.
• In this seminar, the Project delivered reference documents of Silage Making Method, notebook and pen as usual. Basing on what previously observed in MocChauabout farmers’ current silage making practice and experiences, JICA Project experts and counterparts summarized and pointed out some technical aspects for the farmers to improve their silage making method more properly, especially the ways how to preserve silage well to avoid fungi and reduce wastage. Dairy farmers were also guided how to feed cattle using this type of feed properly.
