Increasing production is the aim of most dairy farmers. Beside farm management, genetic of dairy cattle also plays a very important part to achieve such aim. For that reason, Mr. Koji Shimokawa, long-term expert, held a training course on National breeding system and Dairy Herd Improvement. The course took place in 4 days in Ba Vi center (from 02nd Feb to 05th Feb), with the attendance of five (6) counterparts (C/Ps) and one staff form Moncada center.

The training course provided the participants practical knowledge on the National Breeding System of Japan and Vietnam; Dairy Herd Improvement (DHI) schemes of Japan and its benefits; and steps to establish a dairy cattle breeding and management system and its possibility in Bavi dairy area & Vietnam.

The participant gained some new awareness after the course, and found out some points from the course that are very suitable to apply in their job.
