Vietnamese tax officials participate in JICA training courses in Japan
Three Vietnamese Tax officials (one per course) participated in the following 3 training courses.
- International Seminar on Taxation (General course):22/8-21/10/2010
- International Seminar on Taxation (Senior course):30/8-22/09/2010
International Seminar on Taxation (ISTAX) has two courses, General course and Senior course, and is provided by National Tax College of NTA. The participants from across the world learn Japan and other countries' taxation issues and practices through seminars, presentations and discussion, and are expected to contribute to their countries taxation applying knowledge obtained from the courses.

JICA Okinawa is a provider of this course. The trainees are given the opportunity by the course to learn planning and designing educational programs and materials, theories of IEC (Information, Education, Communication), human skills in education and enlightenment, skills for material production in various media, and other countries practice. The skills and knowledge provided by this course would be useful for enlightenment program on tax such as tax PRs and tax education aiming improvement of voluntary tax compliance among taxpayers.
