【研修員受入事業】グルファン・ブラドミール・ゴルチーノさん（マーシャル諸島共和国出身）／研修コース：P-LEADS2018・第3バッチ・鳴門教育大学

世界から日本各県へ飛び立ち母国発展のために現場で奮闘している人たちがいる。
徳島の現場から生の声を伝える。

温かいおもてなしの心「マニット・デー」日本文化に触れながら地域交流

　マーシャルは、1年を通して30度前後の熱帯雨林気候で、パンノキの実やパンダナス、ココナッツ、バナナなどおいしい熱帯フルーツを食べられます！私たちは家族を大事にし、年配の方や他人に対しても敬意を表し、協力し合うことや温かいおもてなしの心を大切にします。それが「Manit（マニット）」という文化で、毎年9月の最終金曜日には「マニット・デー」という祝日があります。その日は各地域や学校でそれぞれの特色を生かした催しを開き、皆で祝います。
　私は徳島ののどかで美しい景色が好きです。自然豊かな公園で、友達と過ごすこともあります。また、徳島の人はとても温かくフレンドリーだと思います。私には、多くの徳島の友達がいて、社会人バスケットボールのチームにも所属し、交流とスポーツを楽しんでいます。さらに、大学や地域の留学生向けプログラムで、様々な日本文化に挑戦しています。
　修士課程の2年間を修了した後は、マーシャルの理科教育の改善に向けて取り組んでいきたいです。
　最後に、徳島の子どもたちに向けて次のメッセージを送りたいと思います。「家族を大事にし、また皆さんの未来を想ってくれる先生や年配の人の話に耳を傾けてみましょう。平和で安心して生活する世の中にするために、オープンマインド（自分をさらけ出して他を受け入れる心）を持ちましょう。未来を作るのはあなたたちです。」

Marshall Islands has a tropical climate, which means that every day’s temperature is around 30°C. So that we can eat delicious tropical fruits like breadfruit, pandanus, coconut, banana, etc. ‘Manit’ is our important culture, which goes around family, respect towards others especially to elderly people, co-operation, and warm hospitality. Cultural Day or Manit Day is usually celebrated at the last week of September. So, it is a week long celebration. Each school has its own program and the government also organizes activities for the community.
I do like Tokushima because It has a lot of beautiful landscapes and I also like to stay at parks with my friends to enjoy and just reflect on the beauty of nature. I think that the people here in Tokushima are also amiable and friendly. I have a lot of friends in Tokushima and join to the basketball club team. I enjoy the sports and exchange with people. Furthermore I also experience and enjoy the different Japanese culture through the Naruto University’s program from the International Student Office.
As soon as I completed my program here in Japan, I will be back to the Marshall Islands to help and improve the department of education especially in the areas of science.
At last, I would like to send a message to Tokushima’s children; To love their parents whole heartedly as we only have one parents. Respect their teachers and elders as they are the one who guides us to be successful in the future and to be caring towards one another in order to create a peaceful and prosperous environment. Remove racism, be open minded and do not be afraid to explore and seek for the truth. The future depends on you.

研修員に参加するまで：来日前は、中・高校で約10年間理科を教えていました。同時に理科勉強会のトップをしていました。 / I have been teaching science for almost ten years in junior and high school. At the same time, I was the science department head.
