Gizo learns to manage wastes

A Solid waste management project in Gizo, is being implemented by Japanese government through JICA, in partnership with the SPREP (Secretariat of the Pacific Regional Environment Program).
This project have changed people’s awareness towards conserving and protecting environment in 1 year, by executing appropriate way of disposing off their wastes at the right place.
8 countries have benefit from the project over the Pacific Ocean, and JICA plans to implement similar project at Ranadi dump site in Honiara.
